  • Starting and ending point: The race begins and ends at the Barbados Cruising Club.
  • Route highlights:
    • Boats sail through historic Carlisle Bay.
    • Pass the Bridgetown deep water harbour to starboard.
    • Navigate a 20-mile stretch of calm water along the West Coast, passing luxurious homes and towns like Holetown and Speightstown.
    • Round the northern tip of the island by midday, facing the open Atlantic on the East Coast.
    • Tackle a challenging 10-mile leg with tricky currents, shifting winds, and large waves.
    • Sail a 20-mile stretch, maximising speed to clear Bathsheba around 1 pm and later East Point.
    • Enjoy an 18-mile downwind run along the South Coast, passing Oistens, Rockley, and Worthing between 2 pm and 4 pm.
    • Finish by navigating around the island’s Southwest corner back to Carlisle Bay.
