At the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, Fountaine Pajot both made a big splash by showing off the brand new THIRA 80, a stunning luxury sailing catamaran, and also announced the upcoming POWER 80, set to launch in 2024.

Pinnacle of luxury in both Fountaine Pajot's sailing and motor yachts ranges

Fountaine Pajot's commited to meeting the ever-growing demands of its discerning clientele. Launched in September 2023, the THIRA 80 is a magnificent vessel and the largest cruising catamaran ever crafted by the shipyard, boasting an impressive length of 24 metres and a width of just over 11 meters.

A year after its inception, Thíra 80 sailing catamaran emerged from the Fountaine Pajot shipyard in La Rochelle. It quickly set sail for its highly anticipated inauguration at the Cannes Yachting Festival in the Mediterranean Sea. This superb catamaran has already captured the interest of many and convinced future owners with its grandeur and elegance.

During a press conference at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, Fountaine Pajot announced the exciting expansion of their 80-foot model into a motor yacht version, responding to the growing enthusiasm.

The upcoming Power 80 will feature several modifications to meet the specific needs of clients accustomed to large, luxurious yachts, whether monohull or multihull.

POWER 80: A new benchmark in Motor Yachts

The Power 80 represents a significant project for Fountaine Pajot, who has risen to the industrial challenge to offer a new large yacht that perfectly blends innovative design with luxury and comfort.

In terms of layout and design, the Power 80 will inherit the successful features of the Thíra 80. Notably, it includes expansive windows in the saloon, with glass extending lower than usual, offering an unobstructed sea view when seated on the starboard sofas or in the adjacent port-side lounge.

As for accommodation and capacity, the Power 80 will offer between five and seven double cabins with private bathrooms, depending on the chosen layout.
This includes two options for an ultra-spacious Owner's cabin.
Crew members are also well catered for, with up to three skipper cabins located at the forward points and under the rear cockpit, depending on the layout.

The Power 80 marks a new significant milestone for Fountaine Pajot in its quest to expand its range and venture into the market of large catamaran yachts. This is a splendid opportunity to showcase the shipyard's expertise, backed by over 40 years of experience in catamaran design.
