Privilege Marine - Serie 4.9 Catamaran

Well-being and liberty above 15 meters.

With square or round shape, the salon always houses many storages under seats, behind the backrests and in furnitures. The galley can be in the passageway or up in the salon.

Based on two hulls recognized and approved by users, the PRIVILEGE 445 and 495 give way to the PRIVILEGE Serie 4.5 and 4.9.

Always in partnership with Marc Lombard and his design office « ML Design Team », the PRIVILEGE Serie 4 provide an interior arrangement more up-to-date and take advantage of different practical and technical improvements.

Outside, the PRIVILEGE Serie 4 follow the trend of the largest models of the range with some elegant hull borders and roof window, a helmstation always well protected but more functional. The helm station at mid-level is also modified for more comfort.

Functional Comfort Aboard the Serie 4.9

Since 1985, PRIVILEGE cruising catamarans have enjoyed a worldwide reputation for their high-end position in the multihull market…

Since then, no fewer than 600 PRIVILEGE yachts, ranging from 12 to 23 m, including 80 units over 17 meters long, have sailed all over the world.

COMFORT AND SECURITY

A trip around the world on a boat is not improvised. Some fundamentals have to be studied, mainly for safety reasons, and not always visible at first glance.

About the construction of the Serie 4.9:

  • Individual structural certification by BUREAU VERITAS, in addition to usual EC certification : every catamaran is controlled by an expert.
  • Structural guarantee 5 years on hulls, bulkheads and deck: divynicell sandwich vaccum application, strictly followed at all steps.
  • Structural bulkheads also in sandwich infused on marble: rigidity.
  • Monolithic areas and plywood reinforcements are vaccum applied : resistance and uniformity.
  • Transoms and fore peaks with « crashbox ».
  • The keels are structured and reinforced.
  • Engines and technical compartments are completely waterproof.

STRENGTH AND LONGEVITY

A large majority of PRIVILEGE more than 20 years old are still cruising around the world, sometimes after a small refit; the selection of materials and the quality of construction have a direct impact on this longevity…

  • Forward beam reinforced in three points dominated by a mechanically-welded dolphin striker.
  • St/steel anchor roller integrated at the forward pod.
  • The rostrum (main pod) offers full rigidity to the entire forward structure.
  • The Maréchal mast and rigging ensure reliability in all conditions.
  • The sails from Incidences comply to strong requirements, for a good ageing.

LEISURE AND COMFORT

A simple deck layout offers all pleasure for simple and reassuring cruising:

  • Forward stainless-steel pulpits with secure teak seats,
  • The catwalks are large and secured by long st/steel handrails on the roof,
  • The large cockpit is protected by the GRP hardtop for friendly moments,
  • The half level helmstation : easy and quick access in all conditions, perfect visibility on sails and deck, efficient contact with cockpit and salon,
  • Reinforce st/steel davits and aft transoms ideal for water sports and discharging.

SPACE AND AUTONOMY

The PRIVILEGE Serie 4.9 remains a solid value for those who consider that pleasure must also rhyme with safety...

The two passageways lead into the 4 double cabins with private heads, and generous storage capacity needed for long voyage! A desk area on starboard, or an additional berth, set the tone to the program of the boat: sabbatical period or pre-retirement, family cruising or exclusive charter: range, comfort, everyday safety!

The owner’s version of the Privilege Marine Serie 4.9 catamaran comes with a large central cabin forward, accessible on both sides for 6 berths, or only on one side in order to comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons on board.
